A Job Evaluation According to Job Ranking

It was discussed before that there are several types of job evaluation. Out of all of them, the most simplest job evaluation type is the job ranking method.

The job ranking method can be easy to use because it puts all of the jobs into perspective, and an overall view of the company is examined. All of the jobs in the company are listed. Then, you will then order the list according to perceived seniority.

The advantage of the job ranking method is that it can be quick. You simply need to know the titles and functions of each of the jobs and then you can list them out and arrange them in order. The problem with it however is the fact that it may not be easily applied to much larger organizations.
